On March 17, 2013, Nicki Minaj stopped by Los Angeles hospital Cedar-Sinai to visit rapper Lil Wayne, who entered the medical facility earlier this week due to a recurrence of seizures. Many reports had Weezy on his death bed, but the president of his record label set the record straight in a tweet.
According to a Global Grind report, TMZ spotted Nicki entering the hospital and noted she appeared to be in a good mood despite early reports her label mate was in an induced coma and was breathing through tubes.
Some in the media even wrote he was in critical condition and being prepared for his last rites.
But, according to his family and friends, he is doing “okay and just resting,” writes Global Grind.
Hip Hop Wired reports that Mack Maine, the president of Young Money Entertainment, took to Twitter after visiting Weezy and wrote that the performer is “alive and well!” He added, “We all watching the Syracuse game” and instructed fans, “don’t believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe… that’s false!!”
