Nicki Minaj took her hits to the NBA fans on Sunday at the Amway Center in Orlando. The entertainer was part of the preface of the West team’s introduction and was toned down compared to the Grammys. Part of the big weekend celebration of the National Basketball Association, the audience got to see several entertainers over the weekend and a big kiss that had people talking.
The fans weren’t disappointed as Nicki Minaj started her segment in a white time-traveling jumpsuit. Performing Moment 4 Life and Turn Me on the first segment had fans enjoying her music. After the West team was finished with their introductions, Minaj then performed Starships and Super Bass in a new dancing sequence that included plenty of cheerleaders.
While the performance was high energy and full of familiar hits, the one moment she got the most attention for wasn’t even during her singing. Taking a moment to go courtside Nicki MInaj went to Lil' Wayne and kissed him as everyone looked on. While it looked like a stunt, it could have been because Nicki was interested in the diamond studded Dr. Dre headphones he was wearing.
