Nicki Minaj, Jay Z lead 2010 BET Hip Hop Award winners list

"Pink Friday" rapper Nicki Minaj and "The Blueprint 3" star Jay Z pulled off major wins at the 2010 BET Hip Hop Awards Tuesday. Earning three trophies a piece, Minaj and Jay-Z topped nominated acts including B.o.B, Eminem, T.I., and Kanye West.

Minaj, gearing up for the anticipated release of her debut album "Pink Friday," won Rookie of the Year, the People's Champ Award and 'Made You Look' Style Award.

Jay Z tied with Best Live Performer, Best Hip Hop Video and the Perfect Combo Award, the latter for his collaboration with Alicia Keys on "Empire State of Mind".

Tapped earlier this year, the 2010 BET Hip Hop Awards were broadcast on BET Tuesday, featuring performances and appearances from Rick Ross, Salt N Pepa, Trina, Swizz Beatz, Cali Swag District, and more.

BET is slated to rebroadcast the awards Sunday, October 17 at 7:30pm.
