Songwriter and actress, Nicki Minaj, is being sued by an entertainment company for a deal that was made during All-Star weekend. Reportedly, the rapper acted like a “Diva’ and did not deliver as originally promised. The entertainment company is requesting her to repay the $50,000 that she received as payment.

TMZ reported that Minaj took $50,000 to appear at an All-Star event for one hour. According to NBA All-Star promoters, she showed up later and then left early. Minaj was slated to make an appearance and host an event at Siren Studios during NBA All-Star Weekend back in 2011. Some other celebs who also appeared were Drake, Trey Songz and Lil Wayne. In the contract Nicki Minaj signed, she agreed that she would attend the event from midnight to 1 a.m.

However, the entertainment company stated that Minaj acted like a diva and did not arrive until after 1:30 and was already gone before 2 a.m. IMP Entertainment wants to entire $50,000 back and are also requesting additional for lost revenue and the cost of hotel arrangements. Fox news reported that the diva’s tardiness “defeated the entire purpose” of her signing the contract to host the event.

This is not the first time Nicki Minaj was sued and earlier this year, she was sued by a hair stylist, Terrence Davidson. CNN reported that Davidson started making wigs for Minaj to wear at her appearances which led her to become well-known for a variety of wigs and her sense of style. Minaj started selling the wigs online and they were based on the designs Davidson reportedly created.
