Nicki Minaj is not getting married anytime soon. The recording artist denied talk of an engagement ring Tuesday, claiming to not be involved with anyone but her fans.
"That's not a wedding ring. Obviously, I'm not married," Minaj told "Ellen" when asked about a ring she had been pictured with.
The "American Idol" judge went on to deny any form of relationship after the ring talk, claiming any man that enters her life, in that capacity, has to be "secure."
"I don't have anyone. It has to be a strong person. It has to be someone very secure because it's so easy to feel insecure," Minaj says in video below.
As widely reported, Nicki Minaj will be appearing as a judge and mentor on the anticipated all-new season of "American Idol."
In related news, Keith Urban is happy to be part of "American Idol" this season. He recently compared the judging panel to being in a band, with two girl singers and two guys.
"American Idol" kicks off Wednesday, Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. on FOX.
