Uptown Productions is getting ready to begin production on a brand new series "The Thundermans" for Nickelodeon Netwok. The show's casting directors are auditioning actors for the series regulars, guest stars, possible recurring, and under-5 roles. Shooting will begin in mid-February, and the extras will be cast at that time and throughout production in Los Angeles. The pilot for this live-action show was shot back in October, 2012. The Thundermans have just moved into a new neighborhood and while they may look like a normal, average family, they are in fact "two ex-superheros and their superpowered kids".

Bob Koherr will direct "The Thundermans" from teleplays written by three-time Daytime Emmy Award winner Jed Spingarn. Although Koherr has directed for the Nickelodeon show "True Jackson VP," he is a long time director of Disney Channel series including, "Zeke and Luther," "Wizards of Waverly Place," "The Suite Life on Deck," "Hannah Montana," "A.N.T. Farm," "Jessie," and "Good Luch Charlie". He is also a skilled improv comedy performer and was a series regular on the Comedy Central show Strip Mall, where he worked with actor Alan Baltes. Koherr most recently played the role of Marty on Walt Disney Pictures "Race to Witch Mountain".
