Nickelback have expanded their current Hits World Tour with a handful of dates in South Africa.
In a news release posted Sept. 20 on the band’s official website at Nickelback.com, the Canuck rock supergroup confirmed it will perform four shows in Johannesburg and Cape Town in December, 2013.
Touring in support of their latest "Greatest Hits" package, the "How You Remind Me" hitmakers, will make stops on Dec. 6 and Dec. 8 the tour in Johannesburg at the Coca-Cola Doma and on Dec. 11 and Dec. 12 in Cape Town at Grand Arena.

Frontman Chad Kroeger tied the knot with fellow Canuck pop princess Avril Lavigne on Canada Day, July 1 and the band headlined a benefit concert last month in Calgary, AB to support Albert Flood Aid in their native province.
Their massive 2013 world tour continues throughout the fall with multiple dates in South America and Europe and a new studio is planned for release in 2014.
