Nick Santonastasso is the 17-year-old who wants to inspire the world. Viewers have probably seen him in “The Walking Dead” zombie prank that startled star Norman Reedus and he wasn’t looking like himself. Instead Santonastasso was one scary looking zombie. Don’t worry, he loves that fans see him as a zombie and wants to inspire the world. On Today.com Wednesday, the popular YouTube star shared his dream of making people smile.
“Then I look at what I’m doing and how many people I’m inspiring,” said Nick Santonastasso. “And I am pleased with what I’m doing.” For the “Walking Dead” spoof, Nick and his family were flown to Tokyo and participated in the event that kicked off the show in 125 countries.
Nick isn’t your typical 17-year-old student which is why his story is so very special. Nick was born with Hanhart syndrome. It is a rare birth defect that left him with no legs, an undeveloped right arm, and a left arm with one finger. The unsurmountable odds that Nick faces every day has people inspired in so many ways. And his creative idea to be a zombie? Well, that’s pure genius!
So what is next for Nick Santonastasso? The young teen is still posting video and pranking people in stores. The pranking of Norman Reedus is a must-see video clip. He still loves a good zombie scare and to give one is even better. Most of all Nick wants to inspire everyone else. Which is one amazing decision that everyone needs to take to heart. Yep, Nick is a one-of-a-kind teen who is awesome (and still belongs on “Walking Dead” the TV show.)
