Mariah Carey was one of the honorees at the BET Honors 2012. The entertainer who has found her passion in the world of music was acknowledged on the BET Channel Monday night for her contribution to entertainment. One of the most moving speeches of the evening was from Nick Cannon who talked about his wife.
"We heard the accolades we heard the numbers. What most people don't get to see is the true woman,” said Nick Cannon on stage during the presentation speech of the BET Honors. “The mother the virtuous person. My angel. Someone when times are hard, she is there.”
Mariah Carey was moved by the speech of her husband. Wiping her tears away from her eyes, it was obvious she felt passionate about her life with music. The display of affection gave everyone watching an understanding of the relationship the two entertainers had and shared a moment with the fans.
Mariah Carey has sold over 200 million records worldwide but on Monday night the crowd got to see a different side of the diva. She was the mother to Moroccan and Monroe who is loved dearly by Nick Cannon.
