Nick Cannon dons Grill Master hat for Coney Island hot dog contest (Video)

Nick Cannon was in New York City of the Fourth of July keeping the hot dogs warm for the Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest. For the second year in a row, the celebrity was tending to the 70 hot dogs on his grill on Monday as part of the annual eating competition.

"It is a great way to spend the holiday,” said Nick Cannon “Kinda cool, summertime and Coney Island."

As Joey Chestnut ate 62 hot dogs in ten minutes  for the hot dog competition win (or technically that could have been everything that Nick Cannon was cooking on his grill) there was plenty of pink being handed out by the star. Part of Cannon’s job at Coney Island was to hand out the Pepto-Bismol to anyone who might have ate too many hot dogs and gotten an upset stomach. While some could argue that would be everyone who competed, this was a necessary evil for the competition.

The Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest is an annual event that has become part of America’s Fourth of July celebration and with the perfect weather; it is hard to believe that anyone could miss such a fun time on Coney Island if they live close by.
