Packrat Comics in Hilliard is beginning to announce their list of guests for Free Comic Book Day 2010, and at the top of the list is Nicholas Brendon, who played the sidekick Xander Harris on the hit television show Buffy, the Vampire Slayer.
In addition to Brendon, Packrat Comics has released further details of their plans for Free Comic Book Day, including appearances by Darryl Banks (Green Lantern), Josh Medors (GI Joe: America’s Elite), and others to be announced later. There will also be a free concert, a trivia contest, a costume contest, a charity poker tournament, and more.
Since Buffy the Vampire Slayer ended in 2003, Brendon has been very busy appearing in other television shows such as the hit Criminal Minds and the severely underrated Kitchen Confidential.
All seven seasons of Buffy, the Vampire Slayer are currently airing on the Logo Network, as well as being available in DVD sets. In addition, every episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, as well as its spin-off Angel and Joss Whedon’s other TV projects, Firefly and Dollhouse, will be made available to download from Netflix starting on April 1.
