Florida is having a tough time right now. First Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll does not know what black lesbians look like and just recently a 57-year-old Christian puppeteer in Largo Florida was arrested for conspiring to kidnap a young child to the extent of, as the Tampa Bay Times have publicized, “cannibalizing a boy at Gulf Coast Church.” As comedian Richard Coughlan has said on You Tube, “Any person that wants to chop up and eat a boy’s penis should be treated with a little distain.”
There are no laughing matters in Largo as police searched the home of Ronald William Brown to find a computer full of kiddy porn and internet chats with another individual Michael Arnett, in which talks of kidnapping, killing and eating children were uncovered.
According to the 29-page federal complaint made against Brown, he told an associate during an internet chat “I imagine him wiggling and then going still.” The chat then goes on to talk about a plot Brown had devised to kill and eat a boy at Gulf Coast Church. Again, according to the Tampa Bay Times, the affidavit supporting the criminal complaint says that Brown admits to be being a “child cannibalism enthusiast.”
To say this man is sick on many different levels is to say the least. In trying to figure out if there is any upside to Brown's deranged sense of enthusiasm, the only thing that came to mind is that fact that Brown is not gay. For once the media and local authorities did not put a gay stereotype on the head of the suspect in association with child pornography and pedophilia.
Think about this for the moment. The Boy Scouts of America don’t want openly gay members and the opposition in California is against teaching LGBT studies, both have the same reason against the gay culture. Supposedly it teaches people how to be gay. In other words it put kids at risk for abuse and molestation; something the BSA is well known for having in its ranks..
For years there has been a vicious stereotype against the gay community dealing with the topic of child molestation and gay males. The public has always put in the back of their minds that if something happened to their child you look for the gay man next door. If there is kiddy porn to be found on a computer, you look no further than your nearest homosexual male. Though, many will feel that the last two statements are nothing but projection on the part of a gay man, in response to such thoughts, try being a gay man for a few years and see if the stigma does not perpetuate prejudice.
