Niall Horan misses out on Sexiest Men list, Louis Tomlinson to get 'cultured' (Photos)

While Niall Horan may have millions of Twitter followers and a tremendous fan base as part of One Direction, the Irish Independent reported this Tuesday, Jan. 22, that the British boy band band’s blonde member was one of the only “Little Things” singers who failed to make an appearance in a recent list of the world’s “100 Sexiest Men in the World” via Heat magazine. The National Ledger also revealed this Monday that Louis Tomlinson is just one of the One Direction lads who hopes to become more “cultured” for fans after a described “awkward” experience on their world tour in Japan this weekend.

Niall Horan is much-loved by many One Direction fans — as well as his nine million Twitter followers and counting — yet the talented lad was one of the few 1D stars (along with Liam Payne) who were notable for not making the top 20 in the “100 Sexiest Men” list this week, according to Heat magazine. Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik all came within that top 20, with Harry Styles even nabbing sixth place.

However, fellow Niall Horan and Liam fans need not worry too much, as both left-out 1D singers certainly have a special place in the hearts of many One Directioners around the world.

Louis Tomlinson was another One Direction star that wanted to make another type of difference this week, as the “Kiss You” superstars were reportedly left feeling “awkward” after their press conference and tour experience in Japan over the weekend. From the language barrier to the culture shock, the talented singers want to be able to “bond” more with their fans in the future.

A source said to The Sun this Monday:

“The press conference in Japan got embarrassing because the [One Direction] boys’ culture shock was obvious. All five boys over the weekend vowed to learn at least 20 of the common words in the languages of countries they’re going to visit before landing there ... to build that bond with fans.”
