One Direction has quite a busy year ahead of them, as fans are already clamoring for the British boy band’s appearances on their world tour and upcoming performance for the 2013 BRIT Awards this Feb. 20. Heat World reported this Thursday, Jan. 31, that Niall Horan recently hinted that Blondie might perform onstage with them after some encouragement from Louis Tomlinson, while they cover the hit song “One Way or Another” for Comic Relief. Liam Payne also took to Twitter this Wednesday to tell fans he’s “excited” for the “Take Me Home” world tour after working with the lads on tour rehearsals this week.
One Direction sat down this week for a new interview, where the talented boy band lads were asked about recording “One Way or Another” — Blondie’s version of the hit single. Niall Horan, Liam Payne, and the boys will be singing the record this Feb. 20 at the 2013 BRIT Awards, while Niall made an innocent slip-up after not recognizing Blondie’s lead singer Debbie Harry’s surname.
The boys may be performing with Blondie “potentially,” said the lads.
Liam Payne, meanwhile, got One Direction fans equally impatient for the next leg of the “Take Me Home” world tour, as he took to Twitter this Wednesday to remind fans the 1D lads are hard at work performing during tour rehearsals.
“Tour rehearsals are getting me excitedddd for tourrr,” wrote Liam.
Who else is excited?
