‘Ni no Kuni’ PS3 has save-destroying glitch, steps how to avoid it

On Tuesday morning, Namco Bandai released their new PS3 exclusive RPG, “Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch”, in North America. As you head out today to purchase this exciting new title, you should know that a glitch has been discovered that will render your save file useless.

Thankfully, the exact spot and cause of the problem has been discovered so it is possible to avoid losing your save file and having to start the game over again.

Several members of the video game industry have encountered or made note of the bug which can cause havoc for anyone. The glitch occurs when you encounter the wand quest roughly 45 minutes into the game.

If you save your game at the start of this quest a glitch will occur that corrupts your save file making it useless and, thus, forcing you start the game over.

Hopefully a patch is release in the near future to solve this problem.

“Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch” saw release today, Jan. 22, exclusively on PS3.
