NHRA points following the 2014 CARQUEST Auto Parts NHRA Nationals

Funny Car driver John Force still has a commanding points lead after two races of the 2014 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season. Doug Kalitta took over the top of the Top Fuel standings, while V. Gaines holds the lead in Pro Stock following the CARQUEST Auto Parts NHRA Nationals.

Kalitta (191) holds a 26-point lead over Khalid alBalooshi (165). Antron Brown (156) holds onto third by a one-point margin over Steve Torrence(155), with Brittany Force and Spencer Massey (127 each) tied inn fifth.

Force (225) has a 66-point lead on his John Force Racing teammate Robert Hight (159). Phoenix Funny Car winner Alexis DeJoria (156) sits third, followed by Tommy Johnson Jr. (136) in fourth and Del Worsham (132) in fifth.

V. Gaines (191) swapped placed with Jason Line (180) after Gaines’ runner-up finish in Phoenix, while Phoenix winner Allen Johnson sits tied with Vincent Nobile (161 each) in third. Dave Connolly (128) holds down fifth in Pro Stock.
