The NHL schedule 2013 live stream and televised games this week will include a Tuesday night matchup between the Tampa Bay Lightning and New Jersey Devils. Tampa Bay is currently leading their division, while the Devils have struggled a bit in the early part of the season. The latest NHL live streaming and TV game will be presented to viewers thanks to NBC’s sports networks.
According to ESPN.com in their Oct. 29 report, Steven Stamkos and Martin St. Louis have been leading the way in terms of scoring for the Lightning, who are currently on a three-game winning streak. Stamkos and St. Louis each have scored three goals in three games now. Stamkos came up big on Sunday night’s win 4-3 in a shootout against the Florida Panthers. He recently told the team’s official website:
"We probably have the quietest 8-3 record in the league and we like it that way. You look at our schedule and we've played some pretty tough teams."
Among their recent wins in their past six games are wins against the Kings, Wild and the reigning-NHL champions, the Chicago Blackhawks. Tampa Bay is currently scoring at a rate of 3.36 goals a game, while giving up less than 3. Meanwhile, the Devils are a different story, having scored at a rate of 2.18 goals a game, and allowed 3 per game.
With that, the Devils are currently 2-5-4, and sit at sixth in the Metropolitan division, while Tampa Bay leads the Atlantic, although several teams are close by at this early point. They include Toronto and Boston, with the Bruins having played one less game so far than the Lightning.
For tonight’s matchup at New Jersey, the odds are relatively close, with both teams listed at -110 to win, and the over/under for goals in the game set at 5 1/2. Among the players on the “probable” side of things for the injury reports are Tampa’s Ben Bishop and Devils’ goalie Martin Brodeur.
Tonight’s Lightning vs. Devils NHL game will have a start time of 6:30 p.m. EST, with coverage on TV and live online. Fans can watch the game on NBC Sports Network via cable or satellite. There’s also the option to watch the live stream online thanks to the free website, NBC Sports Live Extra, which is available in most households. Fans may also find that the NHL website is providing a free preview of their live streams of various games on Tuesday night, to entice new subscribers.
