The 2014 NHL playoff live stream and TV coverage for the NHL Eastern Conference finals continues Thursday night when the New York Rangers take on the Montreal Canadiens in Game 3 of their best-of-seven series. The Canadiens trail the best-of-seven series 0-2 and are without their number one goaltender Carey Price for the rest of the Eastern Conference Finals. The odds may be long for a series comeback, but if Montreal can pull out the win tonight's NHL live stream Game 3 - anything can happen.

According to a Sportsline report on May 22, the Rangers are currently on a five game winning streak and peaking at the perfect time. Since trailing the Penguins 3-1 in the East semi-finals, New York has won five straight and look to take a commanding 3-0 lead tonight against the Habs. Four of the last five wins have come on the road for the Rangers, so having home ice tonight will certainly be a motivation for New York.

''Having fan support is obviously huge,'' Rangers coach Alain Vigneault said. ''Unconditional love, it's something that's really beneficial to a team.''

New York forward Martin St. Louis believes this series is far from over. The Rangers are just two wins away from returning to the Stanley Cup Finals since 1994, but St. Louis knows that Montreal will not go down without a fight.

''It's a good feeling, but we know we've accomplished nothing yet,'' forward Martin St. Louis said. ''We're trying to prepare for a Montreal team that's going to come out with a lot of energy. We know that. This is a big game for everybody. We know where the series is, and it's a big opportunity for us.''

Las Vegas odds makers have the Rangers listed as the favorite at -180 with the over/under number listed at 5. When this series started Montreal was the second highest listed favorite (behind Chicago) to win the Stanley Cup. However since the loss of Price, things have gone south quick.

Fans can catch the action for Game 3 live on NBC Sports Networks and streaming live online through NBC Sports Extra starting at 8 p.m. ET. Will the Rangers take a huge 3-0 lead in the series, or can Montreal bounce back and cut the series deficit in half and continue their incredible run towards the Stanley Cup?
