NHL player Joel Ward had an embarrassing moment this weekend when he was locked into a bathroom. On Oct. 7, E Canada Now posted about Joel and what happened. Everyone loves to watch Joel play hockey on TV, but nobody expected to get this news from him.
This player for the Washington Capitals was in a hotel bathroom. He then got locked in the bathroom and had to send out a tweet asking for help. Another player teased him that he should just turn the handle which obviously didn't work for him. The door wouldn't open at all and he is 6' 1" tall so there was no way he could slide under the door.
It took about an hour for someone to come and get Joel Ward out of the bathroom. He ended up using a ladder to climb over the top and then he was pulled out of the bathroom stall. Now this will definitely end up on a funniest moments show somewhere. Luckily Joel Ward is now free.
