‘NHL 15’ demo now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

The demo for Electronic Arts’ upcoming hockey game, “NHL 15” is now available for download on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Electronic Arts confirmed on their official website today.

According to Electronic Arts, only Practice Mode and an Exhibition match between the Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers will be available in the demo, but you can tinker with three different control schemes, across three different difficulty settings.

The first hockey game released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, “NHL 15” will include several gameplay modes including “Hockey Ultimate Team,” “Be a Pro,” “Be a General Manager,” “Online Versus Play,” “NHL Moments Live” and “Practice Mode.”

The next generation version of “NHL 15” will feature a host of visual improvements as well, including the noticeable element of equipment moving under each players’ jersey with every stride and move up and down the ice. EA Sports’ “Dynamic Cloth” technology will reportedly add an extra level of realism to each players’ movements.The same technology used in the recently released UFC game, EA Sports has improved the visual element of the NHL series tremendously for its next-generation console debut.

“NHL 15” is currently scheduled to skate its way on to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 video game consoles on Sept. 9.
