NFL: Welker, Amendola and Bush find new homes, Jennings to meet with Vikings

Many moves were made in the NFL yesterday and the open free agency period went into full swing. Here are some notable moves from yesterday:

-Denver Broncos signed wide receiver Wes Welker

-New England Patriots signed wide receiver Danny Amendola (to replace Welker)

-Seattle Seahawks signed defensive end Cliff Avril (Avril has been with the Lions)

-Detroit Lions signed running back Reggie Bush

-Arizona Cardinals signed running back Rashard Mendenhall

ESPN is reporting that wide receiver Greg Jennings is visiting the Minnesota Vikings today. Jennings of course has played his whole career with the Vikings’ division rival Green Bay Packers. Jennings has 425 catches in his career for over 6,500 yards and 53 touchdowns. Here is some of that piece:

Jennings told ESPN's "NFL Live" on Tuesday that he was looking forward to the "experience" of free agency and would take his time picking at team.

"I want to experience it. Im not one to jump the gun, I try to look at myself and believe Im a pretty smart guy," Jennings told ESPN. "I want to weigh out all my options. I want to make sure I end up in a place where my family is going to be happy as well as myself and I can thrive."
