NFL Week 17 picks from CBS experts have been updated again. These 2013 NFL Week 17 picks include quite a few unanimous selections, but also a few that could be surprising to fans of the teams involved. According to the updated report on Saturday (Dec. 28), the experts believe that the Arizona Cardinals are going to beat the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday (Dec. 29). That would give the Cardinals a chance to sneak into the postseason.

Pro Bowl Selections

The eight analysts at CBS also decided by consensus that the Minnesota Vikings will beat the Detroit Lions. That would be a pretty bad ending to the campaign for Detroit, but the team has been struggling quite a bit recently. The most competitive match-up that the analysts had to vote on is the Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets game. The analysts were split on this one, with four selecting each team in what amounts to a grudge match between the two franchises.

In the really important final match-ups, the CBS NFL Week 17 picks go with the Cincinnati Bengals over the Baltimore Ravens, the Green Bay Packers over the Chicago Bears, the Philadelphia Eagles over the Dallas Cowboys, and the Seattle Seahawks over the St. Louis Rams. One surprising selection is a unanimous vote that the San Diego Chargers will beat the Kansas City Chiefs.

If the Chargers do win this game and the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins both lose, then San Diego will become the No. 6 seed as the second AFC wild card. It would give the team a tough first round match-up with the No. 3 seed, which could end up being either the New England Patriots or Cincinnati Bengals, depending on how some of the other games play out.
