Week 3 of the 2014 NFL preseason schedule kickoff tonight with the Steelers vs Eagles live stream and TV coverage thanks to the NFL Network. This game may not count in the standings, but these two teams will be putting some hard hits on each other tonight. With many of the starters scheduled to play the first half or longer, this game will have a regular season feeling to it.

According to SB Nation on Aug. 20, the Steelers and Eagles both finished the 2013 season on fire. In the final 8 games of the season Pittsburgh finished 6-2 while the Eagles rolled to a 7-1 mark. However they both failed to hit their ultimate goal - a trip to the Super Bowl and a shot at a NFL title.

This year may be a bit different for both of these teams. The Steel City always expects greatness out of their Steelers, and they usually get it, but so far this season they are already off on the wrong foot, at least Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount are.

Bell and Blount were looking to lead the charge in the Steelers back field in 2014, but they have a few legal issues to deal with first. The New York Daily News has reported on Aug. 21 that both of the Steelers running backs will be charged with marijuana possession following a traffic stop Wednesday afternoon. That's not the news Steelers fans want to hear as opening week approaches.

The Eagles will once again to have a run and gun offense under second year coach Chip Kelly. Kelly led Philly to a division title in his freshmen campaign, and this year he intends to lead his team even further. With most of the starters playing the first half tonight, this should be a great game to watch for NFL fans.

Las Vegas odds makers have Philadelphia as a 3.5 point favorite and the over/under number set at 50. Fans can catch all of the action on the NFL Network nationally and streaming online through NFL.com's preseason package. Here are the game facts.
