Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been accused of sexual assault, stemming from an incident which allegedly occurred early Friday morning, March 5, at Buffington's, a nightclub in Milledgeville, Georgia, about 85 miles southeast of Atlanta.
Roethlisberger owns a home nearby.
According to TMZ.com, the young woman "was treated at a local hospital and released, and that "witnesses are being interviewed," and that Roethlisberger has now been interviewed by the cops. No formal charges have been filed.
"Big Ben" is also being sued by a Reno woman, Andrea McNulty, who claims he raped her in 2008.
Team Roethlisberger have denied the charges, claiming McNulty stalked the Super Bowl hero and "wanted to have [his] baby."
A rep from the Steelers told TMZ, "We are gathering information on this incident - until then we have no further comment."

why in the hell can't people leave ben alone, this guy can't even go out on a date with out being accused of sexual assault. everybody trying to get a lot of money from the pros. if i was some body they picked up at closing time at the local bar you would never here anything about it. i guess that the pros are going to have to have some one with them as a witness at all times to prove they don't do this
