The latest NFL schedule 2013 live stream and televised game for Monday Night Football will feature the surging Seattle Seahawks against the struggling St. Louis Rams. Seattle enters looking like one of the true contenders for the Super Bowl in the league, while the Rams may have had their season trounced with the loss of lead quarterback Sam Bradford last week. Nonetheless, the game must be played and St. Louis hosts tonight's game, on the same night as a MLB World Series game by the Cardinals. The latest NFL live streaming and televised game will be presented for fans courtesy of the ESPN networks.
The Waynesville Daily Guide reported on Oct. 27 (via the AP), that Kellen Clemens will make his 13th career start as the replacement quarterback for Sam Bradford. St. Louis also picked up Brady Quinn and Austin Davis for the role, just in case. Clemens will have a tough task against a tough defense in Seattle tonight. The 30-year-old QB has gone 4-8 so far in his career as a starter, and according to the report is “more mobile than Bradford and more likely to improvise.” Clemens told the media, “I have a lot of faith in my abilities.”
Tonight he’ll get that 13th career start against a 6-1 Seahawks team that ranks third in passing defense, holding opponents to 190.6 per game. Add to that, their 7th ranked rushing defense, and it could be a long night for the Rams. Not to mention the fact that Seattle is first in rushing with 154.4 yards per game, mostly due to star running back Marshawn Lynch. Unfortunately for the Rams, defense isn’t among their best attributes this season. The team ranks at 30th in the league in terms of stopping teams on the ground. Their passing D isn’t a whole lot better, ranking 20th.
Odds makers believe in Seattle, and the point spread has been on the rise. It was at -11 over the weekend and moved as high as -13 1/2 on Monday morning. The over/under is set at 43 1/2 total points for the game. Tonight’s game will be held at Edward Jones Stadium, and will be one of two professional sports games going on in St. Louis, as the Cardinals play at home in Game 5 of the MLB World Series.
