The NFL schedule 2013 live stream and TV games on Sunday, Nov. 3 will include the Carolina Panthers hosting the Atlanta Falcons, as Carolina looks to win their fourth straight game and continue to remain above .500. The Panthers remain in second place in their division and are looking to catch the NFC South leading New Orleans Saints, while Atlanta needs to start getting wins if they want a shot at the postseason. Today’s game will be part of the televised and live streaming NFL games available from FOX, DirecTV and other sources.
According to a Nov. 3 report from ESPN.com, today’s game takes place at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC, with the Carolina Panthers (4-3) above .500 for the first time since 2008. In that year, the team made it to the playoffs, but there was no Cam Newton on the team then. It seems as if the team may finally be getting things together with the heralded quarterback they drafted several seasons ago. He told reporters recently:
“We just have to continue to keep meshing as a team, keep building off and keep getting momentum in these upcoming weeks because we are about to hit the meat of our schedule. We are going to need every single ounce of energy that we will have."
Newton has racked up 1,552 passing yards, 12 touchdowns and a 64.9% completion rate. Strangely, Atlanta’s Matt Ryan boasts better stats than Newton in most categories, but the Falcons have been struggling, currently sitting at 2-5 and third in the division. The Falcons have been banged up with receiver Julio Jones done for the season with a foot injury, and Roddy White listed as doubtful for today’s game with a hamstring issue. Those are just two of a myriad of injured players the team currently has, which also include Bradie Ewing, Kroy Biermann and Mike Johnson all done for the season.
Atlanta coach Mike Smith summed up the first part of his team’s season saying:
"We haven't been consistent in anything we've done in seven games. That's the entire football team, the entire coaching staff, and we all take responsibility for it."
The struggling Falcons are listed as 8 point underdogs as of this report, at many sports books. The over/under for total points in the game is set at 47, while money line bets are -360 for Carolina and +295 for the Falcons at various sites. Today’s weather looks to be sunny, with a north wind blowing at 5 to 10 miles per hour and a kickoff temperature in the upper 50’s for Carolina’s stadium.
Sunday’s Falcons vs. Panthers game has a start time of 1 p.m. EST. FOX will provide television coverage of the game on cable and satellite services around the country. In addition, the game may be available live streaming online for some subscribers of the DIRECT NFL Sunday Ticket premium service, and the Verizon NFL Insider service. More details are available at both companies’ websites. The game will also be available “on-demand” via the NFL Game Rewind subscription service after it has ended.
