The NFL schedule 2013 live stream and televised games on Sunday, Oct. 27 will include a matchup between AFC division rivals, the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins. Today’s game takes place at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts with the Dolpins looking for a win over the top team in their division, to try to get closer to the top. Today’s Dolphins vs. Patriots televised and live stream NFL football game will be presented via CBS and various online sources for viewers.
According to ESPN.com on Oct. 27, the Patriots enter this game coming off a disappointing overtime loss to the New York Jets 30-27 last weekend. It was an offensive struggle for Tom Brady and his team, which was held to under 300 yards for their second time in three games. It was also a loss to a division opponent, something the Patriots want to avoid repeating today. The Pats will continue to work in their veteran receiver Rob Gronkowski so that they can get the offense flowing again. The four-year pro had 114 yards on eight catches last week and is certainly an instrumental component of the team.
Gronkowski, who returned from injury last week against the Jets, told the media:
"You always get the jitters the first game back and everything. This is my fourth year. I've got to just go out there and do what I've got to do, listen to the coaches, listen to the players and just practice to the best of my ability so I can be ready for Sunday, and keep a rhythm going every single week."
For the Dolphins, they’ll continue to look to the development of their young quarterback Ryan Tannehill who has thrown for 1,577 yards and 9 touchdowns. However, he’s also thrown seven interceptions and has seven fumbles on his stat sheet for the season. He’s been dealing with a bit of a right shoulder injury, but appears to be good to go for the start on Sunday. Miami enters the game off a loss as well, having fallen to the Bills at home last week, 23-21, in a back-and-forth matchup.
In terms of the favorite, the Patriots have a money line of about -250 at many sports books, and are 5 1/2 point favorites to win this home game. The over/under for the game is set at 45 1/2 points at many books. Weather reports indicate temperatures in the low 50’s under mostly cloudy skies, with a southwest wind blowing 10 to 15 miles per hour. Tom Brady is also listed as “probable” for this game, in addition to Tannehill, but it would be surprising if neither starts today.
Today’s Dolphins vs. Patriots game has a start time of 1 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
