On Sunday's NFL schedule 2013 live stream and televised matchups, the 49ers visit the Seahawks in what could be a preview of this year's NFC Championship game. Seattle would love nothing more than to prove they are the superior team in this 2013-14 NFL season, while San Francisco is also looking to stay undefeated. The winning team gets bragging rights and a 2-0 start to their season. Tonight's 49ers vs. Seahawks game will be an NFL live streaming and televised game provided by the NBC Sports networks.
According to an NBC Sports report from Sept. 15, there could be weather issues which delay the start of tonight's game. It's been reported by The Weather Channel that there's the possibility for thunderstorms in the area on Sunday night. TWC's special weather statement warned that "People engaged in outdoor activities should stay alert to the rapidly changing weather conditions." During week one, the first game of the season in Denver was delayed due to lightning.
With that in mind, tonight's game could be one of the best match ups of the weekend, capping off Sunday's games. The Sunday Night Football game features two of the best and brightest young QB's in the league in 49ers star Colin Kaepernick and Seahawks QB Russell Wilson. The two teams have each started the season at 1-0, with Seattle among the early team leaders in total defense (253 ypg) and passing yards per game (119.0). San Francisco ranks at No.22 and No.25 on those lists, respectively, but they engaged in a battle with Green Bay in their opening contest, winning it 34-28 to prove their worth. Many analysts have picked either San Francisco or Seattle to be the NFC representative in this season's Super Bowl.
The 49ers will look to star QB Colin Kaepernick to continue with the offensive attack. Kaepernick already has racked up 27 completions on 39 attempts, good for 412 yards and 3 touchdowns. Among the QB's early favorite targets are Anquan Boldin who had 208 yards on 13 catches, and Vernon Davis, who had 98 yards on 6 catches. The Niners will also look to more production on the ground from RB Frank Gore, who so far has only 44 yards on 21 carries.
As for the Seahawks, Pete Carrol's squad had a 12-7 comeback win against the Carolina Panthers last weekend to start off the season 1-0. Both the defense and Russell Wilson's passing can be credited for the win, which came late at Carolina. Wilson has achieved 320 yards passing on 25-for-33 passes completed. Doug Baldwin has been the leading receiver with 91 yards on 7 receptions, while Golden Tate and Jermaine Kearse have combined for 100 yards so far on 6 receptions. The ground game has been off to a slow start for Seattle as well, as Marshawn Lynch had just 43 yards on 17 carriers last weekend.
This Sunday Night Football game will feature two teams who should end up vying for a trip to the Super Bowl from the NFC side of things. While Seattle has the home field advantage, they are just slight favorites of 2 1/2 points over San Francisco tonight. Will Russell and the Seahawks be able to get it done like they did last year with a 42-13 win over the 49ers, or will Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers show they are the elite team of the NFC early in the season?
The San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks game has a scheduled start time of 8:30 p.m. EST on TV. NBC will providing the broadcast around the country on cable and satellite TV through local affiliate stations. In addition, there's a free live stream of the game available over at the NBC Sports Live Extra website. See the site here for more details on how to watch and for any restrictions.
