NFL’s All-Time Couch Potato Day Coming On October 26

Many football fans have spent hours watching game after game on a Sunday, but a few days before this Halloween the NFL will provide the ultimate treat of a Sunday like never before.

It’ll start with a game between the Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons in London at 1:30 p.m. local time. That’s 9:30 a.m. in the eastern time zone and 6:30 a.m. in the pacific time zone.

After the early appetizer, the league serves up its usual Sunday meal with games in their Sunday slots and provides the dessert with a Sunday night tilt. The actual matchups (besides the Falcons-Lions tilt) for this date will be known in the very near future.

Make sure to stock up the fridge on Saturday night and get a workout in at some point on Saturday too as there won’t be a chance on Sunday during the first-ever NFL marathon.

The only question left is how long before the Sunday morning slot gets filled with games every week and becomes part of a new television package?
