Is Tim Tebow headed to the Jacksonville Jaguars? That seems to be the case, at least if you believe the many rumors swirling around the internet.
Tim Tebow never got a shot in New York to start for the Jets, which has puzzled many fans and had many experts in the Big Apple questioning why the Jets traded for him in the first place.
Well as quickly as Tebow arrived, it looks like he will be leaving.
According to ESPN, "Tebow reportedly will be traded or released after the season, but league sources say the Jets are likely to honor Tebow's forthcoming request to be released and therefore become an unrestricted free agent."
This could be the break Tebow has been looking for, especially since Jacksonville owner Shad Khan has made it very clear for almost a year that he wants Tebow to play for him in Jacksonville.
It's also being reported by a league source that the Jaguars will have an open quarterback competition and it's a "high likelihood" Tebow will be part of it.
If Tebow does land in Jacksonville in 2013, Tebowmania will surely regain steam as the hometown son who led the Florida Gators to two National Championship titles.
