NFL Rumors: Jacksonville Jaguars expected to spend big on WR's this spring

Last season the Jacksonville Jaguars picked up veteran wide receiver Laurent Robinson as well as having drafted Justin Blackmon. However, it took time for either of them to find their skills with two slow starts to their seasons. According to ESPN's Tim Kavanagh and John Clayton on Feb. 4, 2013, the club look to be in a prime position to add to their receiving corps before the new season.

Despite what was thought to be a solid group of wide outs heading into the 2012-13 season, the Jaguars struggled in that department for the majority of the year, finally settling down once Chad Henne took over as the starting quarterback.

This off-season the team will be one of the most likely to pick up a big name receiver from the free agent market as they are projected to have around $22.1 million in salary cap room to work with and have a great choice of potential free agents to choose from.

The current list of potential targets already sees, Mike Wallace, Dwayne Bowe, Greg Jennings, Wes Welker, Danny Amendola and Brian Hartline as possibly available. However, the team also have the second pick in the 2013 NFL Draft and although it would shocking to see them take a receiver, it could happen.
