The Dallas Cowboys once again had a frustrating season that was mixed with moments of brilliance and those of pure tragedy. According to ESPNDallas correspondent Calvin Watkins, the Cowboys may be looking at their defensive line for their first wave of cuts this off-season as of Feb, 4, 2013.
Reports have suggested to Watkins that the Cowboys are looking into the possibility of parting ways with defensive tackle Jay Ratliff. The lineman's career appears to be headed into the back half of its tenure and with the player's recent off field indiscretions it looks like time to change things up a bid.
The Cowboy's new defensive coordinator, Monte Kiffin is expected to be making some changes with the defense as well as the Cowboy's 3-4 package from the last several seasons is now expected to change to a 4-3 under their new DC.
Those changes are just the first wave of what is expected to be a busy off-season for Jerry Jones and the Cowboys front office as they look to see just what they truly need to get "America's Team," back to being playoff ready from day one.
