NFL Rumors 2013: Reggie Bush, Glover Quin, Jason Jones all to visit Detroit

They may be just NFL rumors, but it appears the Detroit Lions may be doing something they haven't done in what seems like forever - bringing in talented free agents.

According to the March 12 Freep, the Lions are the first team to get a shot at RB Reggie Bush and Detroit native DT Jason Jones. Detroit will also bring in Houston Texans safety Glover Quin.

All three of these guys would be great pick ups for the Lions, who need the help at every position these guys play, but when you are a Lions fan you take everything with a grain of salt.

I mean everything!

The Lions haven't had a good running back since Barry Sanders, and seemingly haven't been able to land a big name free agent in what feels like forever, but it's time to turn the corner.

Sure Bush is a bit older and has suffered injuries in the past, but just having him as a threat could open this offense up for Matt Stafford.

Jones and Quin could instantly help the defense. Jones has 18.5 sacks in four season and is a huge presence in the middle of a defensive line, while Quin is known for being all over the field and laying the lumber on people.

Last season, Quin ranked second on the Texans with 77 tackles.

After a great 2011 season, 2012 was a disappointment in Motown. Lions fans are looking for another playoff appearance in 2013 and landing some good free agents this off-season could be a big part of it.

If you were the Lions GM, which one of these guys would you not let walk out the door without signing?
