Could Darrelle Revis and Dwight Freeney be headed to the Mile High city? Last season Peyton Manning was brought in to take over at QB for the Broncos and Denver was one one hail-mary mistake from hosting the AFC Championship. Manning and the Broncos know first hand the window of opportunity is only open for so long.
According to Yahoo! Sports on March 10, Denver is very interested in bringing in Jets CB Darrelle Revis.
Yahoo! reports via ESPN that the Broncos expressed interest in a deal for Revis, who is recovering from a torn ACL and is expected to be traded.
Look for Denver to be serious players this off-season for several free agents and trade possibilities, including Revis. Broncos owner Pat Bowlen proved last season when he inked Manning to a $96 million deal that he wants another Super Bowl ring.
The Denver Post reported earlier this week that they may have interest in former Colts Pro-Bowler Dwight Freeney.
If the Broncos can work a pay reduction with Elvis Dumervil, they may be able to work out a deal with Freeney.
Indy has already announced that they will officially release Freeney this upcoming Tuesday, March 12 when the new NFL year begins.
