The NFL Pro Bowl 2013 edition will be live streaming online and televised across the country for sports fans on Sunday night. The latest installment of the pro football version of the all-star game includes several big names who will look for bragging rights and some spare cash with a win.
The Pro Bowl 2013 live game will be televised via NBC, with the SNF All-Access site also showing the game live streaming online. NBC's site has been showing games online throughout the season, mostly on Sunday nights. According to ESPN.com's recent report on the Jan. 27 game, this one could see a flurry of points scored, due to the limited blitzing and defensive schemes that these games are known for. Owen Daniels, a tight end for the Houston Texans said of the situation:
"You're not going to see people play dirty or giving it up like a playoff game, but that's just the way it is. I think you've got to accept that and know that we love being out here and I think you've got to know that the people here love having us out here."
Among those scheduled to compete in tonight's game are Denver Broncos star quarterback Peyton Manning, who came up short in the quest to get to the Super Bowl, but will try to get another win for the AFC here. He's joined by running back Arian Foster of the Texans, fullback Marcel Reece of the Raiders, and wide receivers A.J. Green (Cincinnati) and Andre Johnson (Houston) for the AFC's offensive attack.
The NFC is highlighted by a trio of star quarterbacks on the roster due to others being injured. They'll included young superstar Russell Wilson of the Seahawks, Eli Manning of the Giants, and Drew Brees of the Saints. Other offensive stars on the NFC roster include running back Adrian Peterson of the Vikings, fullback Jerome Felton of the Vikings, and receivers Julio Jones (Atlanta) and Victor Cruz (NYG).
The NFL 2013 Pro Bowl gets started at 7 p.m. EST on NBC affiliate station WSLS 10 in Roanoke. Additionally, the game can be seen by Verizon Wireless customers via their mobile device and a specific app, or live streaming online at the SNF All-Access website.
