NFL predictions for Week 14 are in again. The ESPN NFL picks for Week 14 were updated Thursday (Dec. 5) and the ESPN experts have all weighed in now on the full 16 games this time around. According to the update, there are only four games where they all agree on the outcome. That does not include a very competitive game between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers taking place at Candlestick Park.
The unanimous selections are the San Diego Chargers over New York Giants, Denver Broncos over Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens over Minnesota Vikings, and New England Patriots over Cleveland Browns. It seems like at least three of those games could be more competitive than the analysts are predicting, but that's why they all play the games.
One of the noteworthy games is the Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints. 10 of the 13 analysts feel that the Saints are going to win the game. In the Dallas Cowboys vs. Chicago Bears game, 11 of the 13 analysts are going with the Cowboys. Then there is the second Seattle vs. San Francisco game of the season, with eight of the analysts siding with the 49ers this time around.
In the Week 14 NFL predictions, the ESPN experts altered their picks on two games. The consensus had been that the New York Jets would beat the Oakland Raiders and that the Philadelphia Eagles would beat the Detroit Lions. In the updated selections, they now feel that the Raiders and Lions are going to emerge victorious.
Ron Jaworski, who has the best record of picking among the analysts this season, goes against the grain by picking the Seahawks, Eagles, Houston Texans, and Atlanta Falcons to win this week. It will be very interesting to see how he does and whether he maintains his lead over the other analysts.
