The National Football League this afternoon released its 2011 pre-season schedule. The Arizona Cardinals will face three very familiar teams during the four-weeks leading up to scheduled start of the 2011 regular season.
Arizona will be on the road the first two weeks of the pre-season, visiting Oakland in Week 1 and Green Bay for a Week 2 matchup with the Super Bowl Champion Packers. The team concludes the pre-season at home in Weeks 3 and 4 against the Chargers and Broncos.
This will be the seventh time in the past eight seasons that the Cardinals have closed the preseason with a game against the Broncos. Arizona has also faced the Raiders in five of the last seven pre-seasons, San Diego in two of the past three seasons and the Packers in two of the past three pre-seasons.
The exact dates of these games have not been released by the NFL. The Cardinals are looking to rebound from a disappointing 5-11 season in 2011.
