NFL Playoffs: San Francisco 49ers knock off Green Bay Packers 31-45 (Photos)

The NFL Playoffs continued with the second of two divisional games on the night of Saturday Jan. 12, 2013, as the San Francisco 49ers' hosted the Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rodgers hoped to lead his Packers into hostile territory and fight for another chance to go back to the Super Bowl.

The Packers got on the board first with an opening pick six by Sam Shields, but Colin Kaepernick made immediate amends leading his team down the field at Candlestick Park for an early game tying drive. However, Aaron Rodgers would orchestrate another touchdown right before the end of a high scoring first quarter.

Despite the late first quarter scoring by the Packers, Kaepernick and company would turn the tables and go 14-21 up before a Green Bay equalizing touchdown and an end of the half go-ahead field goal for the 49ers'.

The second half picked up with the Packers drawing level again before Kaepernick would break a 56-yard touchdown run only minutes later. Green Bay were stiffed in the fourth quarter as the 49ers' scored twice before the two minute warning and although the Packers would score with only 57 seconds left, its was an obviously clear victory for the 49ers'.

In recapping the action let us take a look at the best photos of the night in San Francisco as the home side ousted their opposition 31-45 in fine form.
