Is everyone else tired of the New England Patriots? The bad news, they are only one game away from making the Super Bowl again this year. The good news, they can't lose the Super Bowl to the New York Giants, everyone's second least-favorite team.
The Patriots will be squaring off with the Baltimore Ravens, Sunday, in the AFC Championship game. The winner will represent the AFC in the 2013 Super Bowl. You will be rooting for the Ravens, as you have had it with Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and their New York Yankee penchant for winning, though you know they have little chance at success. To make the game more tolerable, then, we offer the AFC Cocktail and Drinking Game:
8oz Smirnoff Pear Vodka
8oz grapefruit juice
2oz soda water
1 lime
This is a simple, tasty beverage, which contains just enough soda water to discourage over consumption. Combine. Enjoy. Serves 4.

Besides being produced in Connecticut, which we believe can be considered part of New England, Smirnoff is one of the most mixable, affordable products on the market, and if you want to play the AFC Drinking Game properly, you are going to need a lot of booze, and we aren't looking to bankrupt anyone here.
Separate your viewing party into two teams; one Ravens, one Patriots. You may have to assign teams as no one will want to take Baltimore, since they are going to lose, and even fewer people will want New England, because they are unlikeable:

If Baltimore turns the ball over, take 1 drink
For every Ray Lewis soundbite, 1 drink
For every quarter the Ravens don't score, 1 drink
If Joe Flacco gets sacked, 1 drink
If Joe Flacco gets benched, give 1 drink
If New England scores, 1 drink
If New England takes the lead, 1 extra drink
When New England wins, finish your drink

Every time the camera captures Bill Belichick, 1 drink
If Belichick is wearing a grey cutoff sweatshirt, 1 extra drink
If the Raves score a defensive TD, 3 drinks
If Flacco manages an offensive TD, finish your drink
If Ravens leading at halftime, make Ravens new drinks
If Ravens win, finish your drink and Raven's team drinks
