NFL Playoffs 2013: Packers vs. 49ers; live updates as Rodgers battles Kaepernick

The 2013 NFL playoffs continue with the divisional round as the Green Bay Packers will take on the San Francisco 49ers tonight, Jan. 12 live at 8:00 p.m. EST on FOX.

Every time these two teams meet up, it's a bit personal for Packers QB Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers grew up in northern California and is returning home to take on the team he grew up rooting for, and the one he dreamed of playing with someday.

While San Francisco by-passed Rodgers in the 2005 draft, the Packers didn't and the fans in Green Bay couldn't be happier.

Interestingly enough, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was born in Wisconsin and used to cheer for the Green Bay Packers.

While these two quarterbacks will be facing the teams they grew up cheering for, you can bet there will be no love lost on the field. The 49ers won the Western division this season with an 11-4-1 record, while the Packers (11-5) won the NFC North division.

Be sure to check back for scoring updates as they happen.
