NFL Playoffs 2013: Houston Texans vs. New England Patriots; Vegas odds, pick

For the last decade, the NFL playoffs and Tom Brady seem to have gone hand in hand. Brady and the Patriots will look to advance to the AFC Championship game next weekend for their seventh time since 2001 as they take on the Houston Texans Sunday, Jan. 13 at 4:30 p.m. EST.

The Texans knocked off the Cincinnati Bengals last week in the AFC Wild Card round, but this week Houston will have a tougher task on their hands.

The Patriots are one of the hardest teams to beat at home over the past decade, and the Texans know that first hand.

These two teams met up back on Dec. 10, 2012 and it was all New England as the Patriots rolled to a 42-14 win.

However, the Patriots know that the regular season doesn't mean a thing.

The Las Vegas line is New England -9.5 and the over/under number is set at 46.5.

There is no mystery to this game, actually it's simple.

For the Texans to pull off the upset, Arian Foster has to get his yards. In the match-up in December, Foster carried the ball 15 times for 46 yards. That won't get it done for Houston. The spread does seam a bit high but in the end I see New England winning this game by two touchdowns.

Pick - New England -9.5
