NFL playoff schedule 2014 news has the match-ups set for round two. Surprising results from the 2014 NFL playoff schedule have already taken place, with the No. 6 seed from each conference beating the No. 3 seeds. On Saturday (Jan. 4), the New Orleans Saints upset the Philadelphia Eagles 26-24 on the road. It was the first time that the Saints have ever won a postseason game on the road, but they will also have to do it again in the next round.

New Mock Draft Revealed

In the AFC, the San Diego Chargers upset the Cincinnati Bengals on the road and get the chance to head to Colorado next. The other game saw the Indianapolis Colts beat the Kansas City Chiefs, advancing the team to play against the New England Patriots next weekend. As for the final game between the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers on wild card weekend, the winner of that game advances to play the Carolina Panthers next weekend.

There are some very interesting match-ups surfacing on the 2014 NFL playoff schedule for the divisional round. Can the Denver Broncos beat the Chiefs a third time this season? In the NFC the Seattle Seahawks will host a Saints team that they destroyed during the regular season. Will the home crowd at CenturyLink Field help them or will Drew Brees have figured out how to succeed there now? All of these sub stories as well as many more have developed in the postseason and that doesn't even account for the game many fans have been waiting for on Sunday night (Jan. 5).

The Packers have Aaron Rodgers back and will try to take full advantage of the cold weather at Lambeau Field to advance. The 49ers, meanwhile, have eyes set on defending their NFC title.
