NFL playoff predictions for 2014 are in from CBS. Some shocking upsets come with these 2014 NFL playoff predictions, with wild card teams finding a lot of support. According to the report from Tuesday (Dec. 31), analyst John Breech feels that the San Francisco 49ers and New Orleans Saints will both be able to pull off tough road wins to open the postseason.
In the AFC games from wild card weekend, the first winner picked is from the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Indianapolis Colts game. Though it is slated to be a close game, Breech feels that the Colts are going to beat the Chiefs 23-20. The feeling is that the Chiefs are going to continue losing to teams with winning records, as they haven't beaten one yet this year.
In the Cincinnati Bengals vs. San Diego Chargers, the thought is that it won't be that close of a game. The Bengals are picked by 10 points to win this game at home and head into the divisional round of the postseason. It is the defense of the Bengals that gets the nod here, sending them on a collision course with the Denver Broncos in the next round.
The other 2014 NFL playoff predictions for wild card weekend come from the NFC, where he picks the Saints to beat the Philadelphia Eagles 30-27 and the 49ers to beat the Green Bay Packers 34-27. If it plays out like that, the second round would be the Seattle Seahawks vs. New Orleans and the Carolina Panthers vs. San Francisco. Two scenarios then exist for divisional foes to face off for the conference championship.
