NFL playoff brackets 2014 results have the teams set for the divisional round. The 2014 NFL playoff brackets saw the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints advance on Saturday (Jan. 4), and then the San Diego Chargers did the same on Sunday (Jan. 5). Playing against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Chargers pulled off a huge road upset and beat them 27-10 to advance past the wild card round in the AFC.

New Mock Draft Revealed

The Chargers have the tough task of going up against the Denver Broncos now, with Peyton Manning waiting in Colorado to try to take his team back to the Super Bowl. By the Chargers winning, it sends the Indianapolis Colts to play the New England Patriots on the other side of the AFC. That game could be very interesting to watch, especially since both teams pride themselves on great quarterback play.

While things are settled in the AFC now, the 2014 NFL playoff brackets aren't quite complete in the NFC. The Green Bay Packers vs. San Francisco 49ers game on Sunday evening will decide which team advances to play the Carolina Panthers in the second round. The other match-up is already set, with the No. 6 New Orleans Saints advancing to play the Seattle Seahawks after knocking off the Philadelphia Eagles.
