NFL players continue to face off the field problems. According to a report by NFL.com on Feb. 18, Atlanta Falcons star wide receiver Roddy White was arrested in Gwinnett County, Ga. early Tuesday morning on a minor charge.

White’s arrest comes a day after Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice had his own run in with the law. White’s arrest, however, was not major. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, White was arrested on a failure to appear warrant and was released from police custody on a $168 bond.

Unlike other more serious charges that became an issue in the NFL last season, this one shouldn’t get the four-time Pro Bowl receiver in any trouble with the NFL or his team. White’s warrant was for “non-transparent material on windows.”

Roddy White is coming off of an injury-plagued season with the Falcons and entering into his final season. Both White and the team are hoping to work out a long-term extension, as White has become one of the primary targets of quarterback Matt Ryan. This minor run in with the law shouldn’t affect the team’s plan to secure the services of wide receiver.
