Baltimore Raven's quarterback Joe Flacco capped a career year with a Super Bowl MVP award and the Lombardy Trophy over the weekend. Now, the real question is what is to come next for the impending free agent. According to ESPN on Jan, 4, 2013, there looks to be at least one solution that the player himself has all but confirmed.
In an interview with ESPN while on his post-game vacation to Disney World, Flacco made mention of what the future has to hold for him in the coming months:
I'm a Raven for life. That's the way I see it.
Those worlds will be like music to the ears of the Ravens front office, fans and Flacco's teammates alike as the player looks to remain in the purple and black for the foreseeable future.
In addition to his announcement that he is looking to remain with the club, Flacco and his wife Dana also had an announcement of their own. The two announced that they are were expecting their second child:
My wife found out a couple of weeks ago.
It's one of those things where she's not very far along. Last year, when we played the 49ers, I told my whole family right after the game on Thanksgiving.
It just happened to work out this way again. So, it's kind of a good luck thing, I think.
