With age, not need being the main concern of this team they could go several ways with the 24th overall pick. I have listed the age of their defensive line being their number one concern so let us start there.
It is a bad year to be in need of a DT, or a DT that can handle the NT spot in the 3-4 defense. There are several good tackles in this draft, but most of them will be gone as more and more teams switch to the 34 defense. That defense relies on a NT to clog the middle of the field and they are extremely rare.
So the Ravens could start the youth movement at the end positions. The way the 2010 NFL draft has been shaking out there should be a run on DE’s right around the time the Ravens make their first selection. It seems the most likely end to still be on the board at 24 would be Jason Pierre-Paul.
Of course if they chose to go the DT route it seems very likely that Jared Odrick will be there for them to select. This is a hard one to figure out, but given the age of their D lineman it seems likely that this will be the direction this team takes in the first round.
Since they have several injuries at the CB position, we can make a strong case that they will use the 24th overall pick to address their needs there. Kyle Wilson could fall to them there, but it seems likely he will go higher given the rise of his draft stock.
We can also make an argument for the Ravens to use this pick to pick up the best rated TE prospect in this draft. Their offense could always use more weapons, and that has been the tam’s focus in free agency, it seems likely that whomever one thinks of as the #1 TE prospect could very well end up playing for the Ravens.
