The Arizona Cardinals are a team with so many needs, that they could do any number of things come draft day. Since they have been burned by draft day trades, and only have seven picks to address a plethora of needs, look for them to play it safe and stick with the 26th overall pick.
Depending on how one thinks about this team, and how they will rebuild it strong arguments can be made for any number of players. It seems one of their primary needs is an edge pass rush, and if they choose to address that need with this pick OLB Sergio Kindle or DE Jerry Hughes would be the most likely candidates.
However, we have to remember that the keys to the Cardinal offense have been turned over to QB Matt Leinart, and they may need to address some issues on their offensive line. If they truly believe in Leinart then they must give him all the weapons he will need to be successful. With that in mind they very well might take an OT at 26. Bruce Campbell would be the most likely candidate left on the board at this point.
I think this team would like to draft Brandon Graham the DE from Michigan, but I have little faith that he would still be on the board at 26. If he is, I think that is a solid pick for them. If not Hughes would be an acceptable addition to this team.
Given the loss of Karlos Dansby from the middle of their defense, we can also make a strong case for them to take Brandon Spikes with this pick. He would likely be there, and could fill a big hole in their LB corps.
Given the fact that they need to make a big impact here and score with all their picks, I think this might be the hardest pick in the 2010 draft to predict. I would wait to take a OT in the second round, but they may need that pick to address needs in their defensive secondary.
What we know is this is a team in transition, and we may not know which way they chose to start a rebuild until the card for the 26th pick has been turned in.
