It seemed that the number one need of this team heading into 2010 was at WR, but after the signing of Donte Stallworth and the trade for Anquan Boldin we can hardly say that anymore. They feel like a team that still needs another WR option, but that will now become a secondary need.
Heading the list of their primary needs has to be defensive linemen. Age is a big concern here now, as all three of the Ravens starting D lineman are on the plus side of thirty years old. They have a lot of value because they know how to work the 304 system, but it is that time to bring in fresh faces.
At the CB spot injuries are a concern, and it may be time for the Ravens to address that via the draft. Fabian Washington had a knee injury and may return to the team in a reserve role, and Lardarius Webb also suffered a knee injury and his status for the 2010 season seems to remain in doubt.
After WR on their list of secondary needs they have to consider the MLB spot an area of concern. Ray Lewis is still the man, but hi is 35 and it may be time for the Ravens to begin planning life without him.
This team could also use a pass catching Tight End, and they may use a high round draft pick in the 2010 NFL draft to address that need. It is hard to say where this position fits in term of primary or secondary needs, but it is a need and it will have to be addressed.
