Rob Chudzinski, a rookie coach of the Cleveland Browns, was let go Sunday night. Chudzinksi was "shocked and disappointed" by losing his "dream job."
Mike Shanahan was dismissed Monday morning from the Washington Redskins. This was not seen as a "surprise move," according to the report.
Jim Schwartz of the Detroit Lions has also been let go in the sudden round of NFL firings.
Leslie Frazier of the Minnesota Vikings was another one of the NFL coaches fired on "Black Monday."
Greg Schiano's coaching position with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers came to an end as well. This was also something expected to happen at some point.
There are said to be six coaching jobs currently open league-wide after Gary Kubiak of the Houston Texans was let go on Dec. 6.
